Former Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku has congratulated Hearts of Oak on winning the Ghana Premier League.
According to Opoku, who now plays for Algerian side USM Alger, Hearts title victory over his former club was well deserved as they worked hard for it.
“I will congratulate Accra Hearts of Oak for winning the Ghana Premier League they really work hard for it,” he told Original FM in an interview.
The Phobians led by coach Samuel Boadu won their first league title for the first time in 12 years, edging Kotoko with just one point.
Meanwhile, Kwame Opoku has so far impressed for his new club, scoring four goals in 11 matches.
