Hulk Overtakes Asamoah Gyan As The highest paid player in China

Baby Jet,as he is affectionately called by his Fans is No more the highest paid player in the Chinese super league.This comes at a time when Brazilian, Hulk and Italian forward Graziano Pelle joined the league.Hulk signed for Asamoah Gyan’s current team Shanghai SIPG  just this summer for a transfer record €56 million.

Hulk is reported to have agreed an annual salary of £16.5m before bonuses, which would make him the Chinese Super Leagues’s best-paid player and will also make him the third highest paid player in the world. Meanwhile,Graziano Pelle will become the sixth-best paid player on the planet in terms of wages, making over £260,000 a weekGraziano Pelle has joined Chinese Super League club Shandong Luneng

The CSL has attracted several big names in recent months, with Liverpool target Alex Teixeira opting to move to China from Shakhtar Donetsk in a €50 million deal in February. Roma’s Gervinho, Jackson Martinez of Atletico Madrid and Chelsea midfielder Ramires have moved to China too. Demba Ba and Argentina international Ezequiel Lavezzi are also now playing in the league.


Asamoah Gyan, who earns a whooping amount of £11.8m a year deal from his club Shanghai SIPG, has dropped down to the 7th highest paid player in the world after being 6th previously..
