US rapper and actor DMX remained in a coma and on life support following a heart attack.
According to TMZ, sources revealed that the tests performed on Wednesday showed no improvement in brain activity. It has been almost a week since he was rushed to the hospital after suffering from an apparent overdose; as mentioned before, he had little brain function after being deprived of oxygen for nearly half an hour.
Family members and supporters gathered for a prayer vigil on Monday (5 April) outside the New York hospital, where he remains on life support.
DMX achieved both critical and commercial success in the 1990s with his debut album ‘It’s Dark, Hell Is Hot’ and his best-selling album ‘…And Then There Was X’.
