Betting Helped Me Record My First Song – Kweku Flick

Ghanaian Hiphop and Highlife Artiste Andy Osei Sarfo, otherwise known as kweku flick has revealed how he paid for his first song .

In and interview with Halifax Ansah-Addo on Accra-based radio station Okay FM, the rapper revealed that he was struggling in the early stages of his career. According to the rapper, he had to rely on betting to fund his first studio session.

“At the beginning of my career, I had no money and support, so I used to place bets to fund my recording. When I was making my first hit single, ‘Awake,’ I won some bets and used the money to pay for the studio session “, he said.

When asked how he got money to stake the bet, Kwaku Flick disclosed that he used to ask his parents for money for food and used it to stake the bet.
Kweku Flicks since his breakthrough in 2020 has released over 10 hit tracks including, “ Sika Aba Fie”, “No sleeping” “ Money” “ Adwuma N’asi, “ByeBye”,”Awake.”
