Croatian footballer, Luka Modrić, has extended his contract with Spanish giants, Real Madrid, for another year.
Real Madrid announced the new deal in a post sighted by Standupgh on its official website and Facebook page.
According to club, “Real Madrid C. F. and Luka Modrić have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which remains linked to the club until June 30, 2022.”
The contract sum for the new deal was not disclosed.
In August 2012, Modric signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid after leaving Tottenham. The 2012 deal was worth £35 million.
