Cameroonian President Paul Biya has topped the list of African leaders with an annual salary of $620,976.

Mr Biya is followed by Morocco’s King Mohammed and South Africa’s Cyril Ramaphosa, with an annual salary of $488,604 and $223,500, respectively.

Cameroon’s President Paul Biya has earned the crown of the most highly paid African leader; With an annual salary of $620,976, the Cameroonian leader earns about 10 times more than his Nigerian counterpart, Muhammadu Buhari.

The Business Insider revealed that making the list also are South Africa’s Cyril Ramaphosa, Uganda’s Yoweri Museveni, Zimbabwe’s Emmerson Mnangagwa, Ghana’s Nana Akufo-Addo, and Malawi’s Lazarus Chakwera.
