Fatawu Issahaku, who was heavily linked to Liverpool, have reportedly signed a permanent deal with Sporting Lisbon.
Issahaku, due to his sensational performances for Steadfast FC, has been linked to top European clubs like Bayern Leverkusen and Liverpool.
But according to Footy-Ghana.com, it was Portuguese champions Sporting Lisbon that won the race.
The 17-year-old scored eight goals in 13 appearances for Steadfast FM, helping them to finish fourth in Zone One of the Division One League.
He was called up to the Ghana Under 17s team, before being promoted to the Under 20s for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations, where he shone at the tournament, scoring two goals and notching one assists in six games as the Black Satellites won their first AFCON title for 11 years. He emerged as the player of the tournament.
