Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has presented a whopping 100,000 dollars to the 37 Military Hospital in fulfillment of his promise to cover the cost of training specialists to manage an ultra modern Cardiothoracic Centre for the hospital.
The donations comes weeks after the legislator cut a sod for work to commence on the 80 bed Cardiothoracic Centre in honour of a promise he made last year when he donated some medical items including personal protective equipment.
According to reports, the sum will cover the expenses of medical personnel who will be operating some specialized equipment to be used at the proposed Cardiothoracic Centre at the 37 Military Hospital.
The eight trainee medical technicians are’ Lt Col. Kwame Acheampong Adomako – Surgeon, Dr. Gordon Offei-Larbi – Surgeon; SQ LDR. Benjamin Toboh – Cardiologist and Dr. Nana Yaa Kyei-Frimpong – also a Cardiologist.
