GFA Bans Asante Kotoko Player Emmanuel Gyamfi Over Misconduct

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has banned Asante Kotoko forward, Emmanuel Gyamfi for one match following his misconduct in the league game against Inter Allies FC.

Gyamfi was caught on camera stamping on Inter Allies player Andy Okpe in the 65th minute in an off-ball incident at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu few weeks ago.

In accordance with article 12 (b) of the GFA Disciplinary Code, the Asante Kotoko deputy skipper was suspended for one league match.

Gyamfi will thus miss Kotoko match against Bechem United on Sunday 11 July 2021 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
