One of Ghana’s most popular taxi-hailing company, Uber, has just announced an increase in its fares with immediate effect from 8th of July.
Uber Ghana announced today that they had no choice than to increase the fares due to market conditions.
According to the statement, the minimum fare in Accra has increased from 5 cedis to 6 cedis, while the base fare has been increased from 1.62 cedis to 1.75 cedis.

GHS 0.78 ➞ GHS 0.86
Per minute fare:
