Ghanaian musician King Ayisoba says his brand does not permit him to collaborate with Ghana-based musicians.
According to Ayisoba in an interview on TV3, his style of music, genre and even dressing is totally different from other Ghanaian musicians.
He stated that as an international musician who has performed in the same venue with Snoop Dogg and Steve Wonder, collaborating or featuring local artistes on his songs will be somewhat a downgrade.
“I can say I am different from Ghana music. So my music is unique and different. You can see my dressing and my clothes. So I can not feature hiplife anyhow. I have to chose the one who is the best.
“When I perform in Europe at big festivals, I have not met a Ghanaian Hiplife artiste. I have met Beyonce before and Steven Wonder. And once I performed with Snoop Dog in Canada. So if I will feature somebody. I will feature somebody well-known. I won’t feature somebody who is locally known,” he said.
