Asante Kotoko playmaker Fabio Gama has offered an apology to rival club Hearts of Oak for inadvertently disrespecting them.
The Brazilian footballer incurred the wrath of Hearts of Oak fans after he claimed in an interview with Kumasi-based Pure FM that he has no idea about the club.
Gama was severely bashed and trolled by Phobians on social media for deliberately disrespecting their club.
But opening up on the matter for the first time in a Facebook post, the 29-year-old stated that it was never his intention to disrespect Hearts of Oak.
Fabio also congratulated Hearts on winning the league.
“I also want to congratulate Accra Hearts of Oak on the title of Ghana 🇬🇭 Premier League, and it was never my intention to disrespect them,” he wrote.
