Former Black Stars and Asante Kotoko midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu says he will be very disappointed if Asante Kotoko board sack CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah.
There has been pressure on the young CEO following a disappointing season which the club failed to failed to win a single trophy.
Some fans have been calling for the head of the CEO since their 1-0 loss to arch rival Hearts of Oak.
But in an interview with Prestea-based Energy FM, Agyemang Badu said the Kotoko board should not think of sacking Nana Yaw as he has done “a tremendous job.”
According to the FIFA U-20 World Cup winner has been very impressive, as he has brought professionalism to Ghana football.
“Everyone has his opinion but for me, I don’t think he (Nana Yaw Amponsah) deserve to be sacked. He has done a tremendous job. He has changed player signing to the standard of Europeans. He has done a lot and you can claim you don’t like him but his managerial style has been superb. So I will be very disappointed if the board decide to sack him,” he said.
