Asante Kotoko Mourn Club Legend Godfred Yeboah

Godfred Yeboah’s death has been a big blow to the footballing community and it’s not surprising that tributes are flying all over the place.

Yeboah, who played for the Porcupine Warriors from 2001 to 2009, is widely regarded by many as one of the best left backs to have played for the Kumasi-based club.

Asante Kotoko on Tuesday morning sent a condolence message to mourn the death of former captain Godfred Yeboah ‘TV3’.

The fabulous club wrote in a statement released on Twitter:

“We’re saddened to hear of the passing of Godfred Yeboah who represented us from 2001 to 2009.

“His passion for the club was undeniable and he will be missed.

“We send our condolences to his family, friends and everyone who cherished him.”
