One of the oldest football clubs in Ghana, Kumasi Cornerstone have been relegated to the fourth tier of Ghana football.
They were relegated following their 1-1 draw against Prof Quarm FC in the penultimate game of the Zone 5 Division Two league.
The club is currently on the 8th position on the league table and even a win on the final still can’t save them as they are four points behind the 7th place team.
Kumasi Cornerstone is regarded by many as a legendary football club for their contribution to nurturing top talents in Ghana football.
Some of the iconic Ghanaian footballers produced by Cornerstone include former African Footballer of the year Abdul Razak and former Leeds United striker Anthony Yeboah.
