Hearts of Oak Announce Gladson Awako Signing From Great Olympics

Former Accra Great Olympics captain Gladson Awako has joined Hearts of Oak on a two-year deal.

Hearts of Oak announced the move on their official Twitter account today.

@Awako10_ to the squad. Welcome to the Rainbow family, Smiling face with smiling eyes, the Phobians tweeted.

The 30-year-old will reportedly earn GH¢10,000 as a monthly salary – double the amount he was on at Olympics.

Awako, who joined Olympics from Phoenix Rising in 2019, captained the side to a respectable sixth place finish. He ended the season with 7 goals and 6 assists.
