Asante Kotoko has reportedly called it quits with Portuguese manager Mariano Barreto.
The former Black Stars coach reportedly signed a termination agreement with management of the club on Friday, September 17.
Barreto joined Kotoko in March 2021 but failed to stop rival club Hearts of Oak from winning their first league title in 11 years.
The coach following his failure to win a trophy for the club, threw several jabs at Kotoko management.
Meanwhile, according to reports, Kotoko will sign West African Football Academy (WAFA) coach Prosper Narteh Ogum as replacement.
Coach Ogum is expected to sign a three-year deal next week.
