US Military Says It Made Mistake Killing 10 Civilians In Kabul

The US military has admitted it made mistake when a drone strike in Kabul last month killed 10 civilians.

According to an investigation, into the drone strike that led to the loss of lives of as many as 7 children, they targeted the wrong vehicle as it was not associated with ISIS.

Apologizing for the tragic mistake at Kabul, Frank McKenzie, the top general of US Central Command said on Friday: “This strike was taken in the earnest belief that it would prevent an imminent threat to our forces and the evacuees at the airport, but it was a mistake and I offer my sincere apology.”

He added that he is “fully responsible for this strike and this tragic outcome.”

McKenzie’s shocking confession will certainly make the Biden administration more unpopular than ever. The people of USA already appeared to have lost faith in Biden following the chaotic withdrawal from Afghan.

In the latest approval ratings, Joe Biden hits an all-time low with just 44% of Americans approving of his performance—and the Afghan withdrawal handling was among one of their major concerns.
