Milovan Rajevac is said to have already arrived in Ghana to start his second stint with the Black Stars.
Reports say the Serbian manager arrived in Ghana on Monday and has been staying at Alisa Hotel in Accra.
Rajevac, who replaces C.K Akonnor as head coach after the latter was sacked, is expected to be unveiled by the close of the week.
Meanwhile, the GFA has settled on Dortmund assistant coach Otto Addo to assist Milovan. Addo will however work part-time for Ghana as he does not want to quit his job for Dortmund.
