Singer Wendy Shay has explained to Ghanaians why she is currently single.
In an interview with Kofi Adoma on Kofi TV, the Rufftown signee stated that she is not dating because her busy schedule may cause problems in her relationship.
According to Wendy, her work as a musician occupies most of her time and she needs someone who understands how showbiz works in order to avoid any drama.
“My work takes a lot of my time and so I can’t date just any man. I will have to get someone who understands my work and makes room for such inconveniences. Look at the time but we are here having an interview. If I had a boyfriend, he would have wanted me to be by him after work but that’s not the case so I don’t I’m ready for such a relationship,” she said.
The “Uber Driver” singer added that she is currently waiting on God to find her a man as a life partner.
“Whoever I give my vagina to should not be peoples problems. By the way I’m in a relationship with God and until he gives me someone, I am with him till eternity,” she said.
Meanwhile, Wendy Shay who released her latest single “Heat” some few weeks ago, has denied reports that she shaded Nana Aba Anamoah, Serwaa Amihere, Abena Korkor and John Boadu on the song.
According to her, she didn’t specifically mention any artiste’s name, so she finds it ridiculous for people to assume she is shading the aforementioned celebrities.
“This is a deep song and this is a song I want to leave to the consumers for them to digest and also take their point of view. I want everybody to be able to decode how they understand the songs by themselves. I never mentioned any names,” she told YFM in an interview.
