“Your Random Voice Notes Are Everything Daddy” – Sarkodie In Sober Mood As He Remembers The Late Kwame Ampadu

Ghanaian ace rapper, Sarkodie is in a reflective and sober mood today as he remembers the late Ghanaian legend of high life, Nana Kwame Ampadu

Nana Kwame Ampadu’s death was reported yesterday and has since left many Ghanaians and those in the entertainment in shock

It seems Sarkodie is no exception as he has come out to share relations he had with the highlife legend

In a video he posted on his instagram page of the late Nana Kwame Ampadu, Sarkodie captioned it, “Your random voice notes are everything daddy….Rest well and keep watching over us #RIP #Legend “Nana Kwame Ampadu””

The video also had a piece of advice the Ghanaian legend had for Sarkodie, “Never sell out or promote any news of your life which isn’t profitable on social media. Even when someone offends you, never let the public or social media know of it. When you are being questioned about it, just brush it off. That is the surest way to earned respect even when you are no more. People are watching. I am pleading with you, don’t let any pig rub its dirt on you. Thank you,” said Nana Kwame Ampadu in a voice note to Sarkodie

It shows that the two had a relationship going which was founded on mutual respect and it is evident that his death has affected Sarkodie

Nana Kwame Ampadu is considered a Ghanaian highlife legend and has been credited to have composed over 800 songs and to have been the founder of the “African Brothers Band”

He was born on 31st March 1945 and died yesterday, 28th September, 2021

His death has not come with controversy as Akosua Agyapong has come out to say that his death was as a result of a doctor refusing to treat him just because he was asleeping
