Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has unveiled his starting eleven for the World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe today at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast.
Swindon Town goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott whose call up has split opinions among Ghanaians has been named in the starting XI.
Jordan Ayew is still keeping his place as the number one striker in the team despite his abysmal club form. The Crystal palace forward has scored just once in more than 40 matches for his club.
Leicester City’s Daniel Amartey is picked as the right-back while Strasbourg defender Alexander Djiku and Columbus Crew center-back Jonathan Mensah are paired in central defence.
Reading’s Baba Rahman starts as left back ahead of Gideon Mensah. Dreams FC wasn’t selected by Milovan to start at right-back despite the unavailability of Andrew Yiadom.
