I’ve Produced The Highest Number of Hit Songs In Africa – Appietus

Ghanaian music producer Nana Appiah Dankwah popularly known as Appietus has said he has produced the highest number of hit songs in Africa.

He disclosed this in an interview with Doctor Cann on his sow on ‘Happy FM’.

Appietus, who has produced over 1,000 songs, says he has made over 200 hits out of the songs he produced.

“The last time I put it up on Facebook, with the help of musicians and fans to count, we counted two hundred plus hit songs,” he said.

“I think I’m the only person on the continent with that number of hit songs that are identified by everybody,” he bragged.

When asked if he has more hits than his colleague producers Kaywa and Zapp Mallet, Appietus said he has no doubt that he is the producer with most hits.

“I don’t know but all I’m saying is I have the highest. You can do your checks. I won’t name anyone specifically and say I have made more hit songs than them but I have done my checks and I know what I’m saying so you can also do your checks,” he said.

Appietus is regarded as a legend by many in the music industry. He has produced several hits for A-list stars like Daddy Lumba, Ofori Amponsah, Kojo Antwi and many others.
