CAF Champions League: Hearts Of Oak Names Squad To Face Wydad Athletic Club

Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has named his squad for their hotly hotly anticipated CAF Champions League clash against Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Hearts of Oak will be boosted by the return of their first choice goalkeeper Richard Attah who went on international duties with the Black Stars.

Caleb Amankwah and Emmanuel Nettey, who were a major doubt for the match have all passed a late fitness test from an injury scare. Both players only began training this week but Boadu has been given a huge boost as they are available for selection on Sunday.

Raddy Ovouka will also be available for selection after two weeks of injury which resulted in him being dropped from international duties.

Meanwhile, Wydad Athletic Club have also been boosted by the return of Anas Serhat and Muayyad Al-Lafi ahead of the CAF Champions League game against Hearts of Oak.

The duo are key players their side and their availability will certainly be a headache for Hearts of Oak.

Hearts of Oak are hoping to reach the Group stages of the CAF Champions League for the first time in over a decade. A two legged victory will guarantee them a place in the last 16.
