Representing Kotoko For Even A Day Would Make My Career Complete – Asamoah Gyan

Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan is not ready to hang up his boots just yet and has revealed how representing his childhood club Kotoko would be the icing on the cake on what has been a long and illustrious career

Asamoah Gyan came close to joining kotoko last season but the deal broke down due his demands which the club unfortunately could not meet

The striker settled for Legon cities, making a handful of appearance and finishing the season without a goal

In an interview with Kwabena Asare on his youtube channel, Gyan who is now without a club revealed he still harbours dreams of donning the Kotoko jersey one day

He said however that his current focus is to regain match fitness and get back to doing he enjoys doing most, football

“I am not active at the moment because of injuries, for all these years injuries have broken me down so I decided to give myself some time off so I can check my body well and bounce back in January”

“I just want to enjoy football, it doesn’t matter where I play. Football is part of me, though I cannot play it forever but with the little energy left in me, I am trying to regain my fitness by January and return to the pitch and enjoy football again”
