Founder of the Atta Mills Institute and former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress Samuel Koku Anyidoho has endorsed Unibank owner Dr. Kwabena Duffour as the NDC flagbearer in the 2024 elections.
The controversial politician declared his support for Duffour on his Twitter handle on Saturday.
Sharing a photo of Duffour, Anyidoho tweeted, “If [Dr Kwabena Duffuor] is interested in Leading the NDC; let him come.”
“I am, very ready, for, his level-headed and dignified type of, Service-To-Ghana, Leadership?. May God continue to bless our Homeland Ghana ?? ? NDC shall not die: Ghana shall not die,” he continued.
He joins the likes of Yaw Boateng Gyan, a former National Organizer of the NDC who all have endorsed Dr. Duffour as the next leader of NDC.
Koku Anyidoho also used the opportunity to attack former president John Mahama and general secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia.
“Asiedu Nketiah and John Dramani Mahama, shall NOT be allowed to, destroy, the NDC” he wrote.
Dr. Kwabena Duffour has hinted multiple times that he is interesting in leading the NDC in the 2024 elections. He is expected to be challenged by former president John Mahama who is yet to declare announce his intention to be the flagbearer again.
