Akufo Addo’s Government Is The Leading Force Of Ghana Industrialization Since Independence – Bawumia

Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and the Akufo Addo led government has laid claim to the title of the champions of Ghana’s industrialization drive by claiming to have set up the most number of factories since independence through their 1 district 1 factory initiative

“We have more factories set up under our government than any other government since independence”, the vice-president said

He and the Npp government laid claim to this title during a public lecture he gave yesterday night at the Ashesi University in Eastern Region

The lecture was dubbed “Bawumia speaks and was centered around, “Transforming an economy through digitization: The Ghana story”

Another interesting topic that came up during his speech is the soon to be adoptation of the Ghana card as an e-passport which would allow Ghanaians living in the diaspora to travel into the country without the need of a Ghana visa

It was also revealed that over 15 million Ghanaians have now been registered by the National Identification Authority and are now Ghana card holders adding that newly born babies will be adopted into the system right from birth
