Wendy Shay Educates COP Kofi Boakye On Who A Celebrity Is

The bible says seek and you shall find, it is only appropriate therefore that Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay has replied COP Kofi Boakye on who a celebrity is after he questioned whether indeed those we consider celebrities are indeed celebrities at an event where the Ghana Police Service had a sit down with ‘celebrities’ to iron out their differences after a heated month or two between the police and those called celebrities in which Shatta Wale and Medikal were arrested.

COP Kofi Boakye had this two say at the meeting between the Ghana Police Service and celebrities, “”Who is a celebrity? What is the operational definition of the word celebrity? I think we should get that because I am confused. We are confused. Is it that when you appear in one film, or you do one song, you qualify to be called a celebrity or what? And you see, because we are confused, we do not know what you want”

It took them time to come out with a response but it would appear the ‘association of Ghana celebrities’ have through their ‘director of public relation’, Wendy Shay, found a suitable response to COP Kofi Boakye and his colleagues at the police service

According to Wendy Shay, “Celebrity is an English word, it means a famous person especially in entertainment or sports etc., but it seems some Ghanaians have their own definition for the word celebrity, somebody being famous(celebrity) to Dey pain u people ooh Dabi smh. Ghana wake up!”
