Journalist Albert Nat Hyde Turns Down Anti-Cyberbullying Campaign Ambassador Offer From Bola Ray And Nana Aba Anamoah

Ghanaian Journalist, Albert Nat Hyde has revealed he will be going on a self imposed social media hiatus after careful deliberation and in so doing has had to turn down an offer tabled before him by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EIB Network, Bola Ray and General Manager of GHONE TV, Nana Aba Anamoah to be an ambassador for an anti-cyberbullying campaign to be promoted by their news network.

Albert Hyde has been on the news the past two weeks over an encounter he had with Nana Aba Anamoah, General Manager of GHONE TV, Serwaa Amihere, Talk show host at GHONE TV and Bridget Otoo, staff at metro TV, where the three women ganged up on him for a social media comment he made about their colleague, Serwaa Amihere.

The settling of the issue resulted in him being offered the opportunity to serve as an ambassador for their campaign against cyberbullying, but according to Albert Nat Hyde, family and friends have advised he take a break from social media, he has therefore turned down the opportunity to work with GHONE TV and Nana Aba Anamoah.

He made this revelation on his twitter handle, this is what he had to say, “IMPORTANT! I have formally informed my family about the sudden turn of events in my life and they have received it solemnly. As a result, my family has advised that I stay of the public domain and take a social media hiatus…an opportunity for self-discovery,”

He added, “Consequently, I will not be able, in my capacity as Albert Nat Hyde, continue with the great initiative “Anti-CyberBullying Campaign” as discussed and widely publicized. I would like to thank @TheRealBolaRay, @thenanaaba and @EIBNetworkGhana for the kind gesture.”
