Accra Circuit Court Orders For The Arrest Of Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Ohemma Jacky

Ghanaian gospel musician, Ohemma Jacky is a wanted woman by the law after an order for her arrest was issued by an Accra Circuit Court after she failed to appear before the court over an ongoing fraud case issued against her by former clients.

During the ongoing fraud court case, it has been revealed by the prosecutors that the gospel musician who also doubles as a blogger had forged two Italian passports for a woman and her child. Ohemma Jacky, real name Jacklin Sarfo Gyamfua had been noted to be running advertisements on her social media platforms particularly facebook, claiming to be an agent capable of acquiring international IDs and occupant character cards for interested parties in all European Union countries, at a charge.

A fraud case has now been leveled against her by client who lodged a complaint against the vocalist to the police demanding her arrest on September 8. Ohemma Jacky was arrested and remanded into police custody for a week in September 2021.

The ongoing case revealed other illegalities the gospel singer is engaged in and her failure to appear before the court as the case proceeded has necessitated that an Accra Circuit Court issue for the rearrest of the musician. She has however pleaded not guilty in the fraud case.
