Akuapem Poloo To Serve 90 Days Jail Term As Court Dismisses Her Appeal

Ghanaian video vixen, Rosemond Alade Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo is set to serve a 90 days term as Accra High Court, presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey has dismissed her appeal filed to challenge her 90 days custodial sentence.

Akuapem Poloo finds herself in trouble with the laws of the land after she took a picture in celebration of her birthday with her son in her ‘birthday suit’. This singular act of hers caused a lot of hullabaloo in the country as many child protection agencies took issue with her actions and the matter was reported to the police and then taken to court

She was sentenced to 90 days in prison after her case was heard, but after serving a few days of her sentence, Akuapem Poloo and her lawyers appealed the judgement of the court, labeling it “too harsh” on the mother.

She was subsequently granted a GHS80,000 bail, pending a determination from the court, and the new determination by the Accra High Court is that Akuapem Poloo back and continue her initial 90-day imprisonment.
