Popular Hollywood actor, George Clooney has revealed that he ever turned down an opportunity to make a one day appearance in a commercial and get paid $35 million because the commercial was ‘with a questionable country’

The 60 year old actor who is said to be worth over $500 million, revealed that his 43 year old wife, Amal, talked him out of taking the job which would guaranteed a fat paycheck because it was associated with a ‘questionable country’, though he did not name the country

George Clooney’s wife Amal, is from Beirut and a human rights lawyer. She studied at Oxford University and went on to specialize in international law with a permit to practice in both the United States of American and the United Kingdom.

The Hollywood star made this shocking revelation in a recent interview with the Guardian where he said: ‘Well, yeah. I was offered $35m for one day’s work for an airline commercial, but I talked to Amal about it and we decided it’s not worth it.”

He added: ‘It was [associated with] a country that, although it’s an ally, is questionable at times, and so I thought: “Well, if it takes a minute’s sleep away from me, it’s not worth it.”‘
