Ghanaian musician, Kwesi Arthur has opened up on his career aspirations as a musicians and the level he hopes to attain going forward as a musician.
Speaking in an interview in a video sighted by standupgh.com, the young artiste labelled the Grammys as the highest recognition an artiste could ever hope to achieve adding that he is working hard to one day earn a nomination and maybe even win it.
Ghanaian musicians have long been ridiculed for their inability to win a grammy with their best ever being earning nominations at the prestigious entertainment award ceremony.
The latest Ghanaian to earn a Grammy nomination is Rocky Dawuni who has been nominated for Reggae album of the year in this year’s edition of the Grammy awards. There was also news that another Ghanaian music act, Stonebwoy, had earned himself three Grammy nominations but that was not the case as Rocky Dawuni came out to educate as on what it takes to earn a nomination
Stonebwoy was however not best pleased with the comments of Rocky Dawuni as he believed Rocky sought to discredit him. Rocky meanwhile was only clearing the false reportage that stonebwoy had bagged three Grammy nominations, which was not the case.
