Hottest Ghanaian musician at the moment, Black Sherif born Mohammed Ismail Sherif, has finally revealed to Ghanaians the whereabouts of his parents chief amongst them his mother who has had a name feature prominently in his second sermon song.
Speaking in an interview on GHONE TV, on the morning show with show host Serwaa Amihere, his parents popped up in the course of the interview and he was asked to throw some light on the whereabouts of his beloved parents
An interview which was meant to promote Black Sherif’s second sermong remix with Nigerian Grammy award winning artiste, Burna Boy, quickly became personal, where Black Sherif revealed that contrary to the popular notion, his parents are very much alive and well and that they are based in Greece.
Black Sherif also revealed that the name sister Mariama, which popped up in second sermon was a tribute to his loving cousin who passed away while performing salat (moslem prayer)
He revealed that his parents wanted him to join them up there when he completed senior high school but he chose to stay in Ghana to pursue his musical career which is quickly proofing to have been a good idea.
Black Sherif is currently a student of the University for Professional Studies and in level 200.
