Ghana Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac has put a request in for another assistant coach as doubts have been cast over the availability of of German-based Otto Addo ahead of the 2021 African Cup of Nations set to come off in Cameroon in January 2022.
The Serbian tactician seeks to strengthen his backroom staff with a physiotherapist and other technical areas to ensure his team is fully prepared ahead of preparations for the AFCON.
Unfortunately however, Otto Addo may not be available to work with the Black Stars during the African Cup of Nations due to his engagement with German Giants Borrussia Dotmund in the Bundesliga.
Milovan is therefore requesting for another assistant coach who will serve as cover for the unavailable Otto Addo.
Henry Asante Twum, spokesperson for the Ghana Football Assocation made public the demands of the National team coach
“Coach Milovan has requested for an additional assistant coach because Bundesliga will go on break for the Christmas and we might not have Otto Addo for Black Stars duties so there is the need to have a temporary assistant coach for Milovan for the AFCON games.” he said
