Yahaya Mohammed Preparing For Life After Football As He Studies For Coaching Badges

The career of football players is so short that sometimes it ends before it even begins. Aduana Stars cult hero, Yahaya Mohammed is not alien to this fact and is therefore already taking matters into his own hands as the sun sets on his career and is therefore studying for his coaching badges in preparation for life after football.

The Ghanaian international was joined by over 40 other participants as they all partook in the CAF/GFA license D coaching course which was organised in Sunyani by the Brong Ahafo Football Association earlier this week.

Yahaya Mohammed still has a few years left on his playing career but he is not waiting on his final day until he starts to prepare for life after ‘pension’ and is therefore taking proactive position in his life instead of being reactionary, something many are guilty of.

The photo him seated amongst many others in a classroom quickly went viral and many were happy that he is already putting steps in place to ensure he does not come begging after hanging up his boots.

The president of the Ghana Football Association reacted to the photo saying, “Great idea to start taking your badges even when you are still active. Others must emulate!!!”
