Black Stars Coach Drops Provisional Squad For AFCON

Preparations are up and underway for the Black Stars towards the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) and Black Stars Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac has dropped his provisional squad in preparation for the tournament.

There have been new inclusions into the Black Stars with Khlaid Abdul Mumin of Vitoria de Guimaraes, Salis Abdul Samed from French Ligue 1 side Clermont Foot, Maxwell Abbey Quaye from Accra Great Olympics and David Abagna of Real Tamale United are all inline to make their Black Stars debut.

Arsenal midfield dynamo, Thomas Partey also makes it into Milovan Rajevac’s provisional squad having missed out on last month’s World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa due to injury. The former Athletico Madrid man has since come back from injury and been an instrument force in Arsenal’s top four charge.
