Preparations are underway for the African Cup of Nations and the Black Stars are well underway towards their preparation for the African tournament but have been hit with an unfortunate setback as they are set to be without one key member of their technical team.
Otto Addo, who works for German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and was appointed by Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac to be a key component of his technical team for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers will be unable to make it to the AFCON due to club engagements.
Otto Addo was appointed to work on a part time basis as assitant coach of the Black Stars but in an address to the press, Ghana head coach, Milovan Rajevac revealed that he will be without his second in command for their AFCON campaign
“Coach Otto Addo will be unavailable for the upcoming tournament. It’s a big lost for us but we will try and find his replacement”, he said
Milovan also dropped his provisional squad list for the Blacks Stars AFCON tournament campaign with some very interesting additions and omissions though the Black Stars head coach insist that the squad is purely his and that he was not influenced by external forces.
