Yesterday we went into French international and Real Madrid’s super striker, Karim Benzema’s garage and brought you the exotic, fast and expensive cars he moves around in.
Today we are not moving far away from home as the person under the microscope today is our very own dancehall king, Shatta Wale, who has been in the news a lot lately over comments he made about Nigerians. Anyways that is not why we are here, we are here to talk about cars.
Shatta Wale may not be as rich as Karim Benzema but he does share the same love for beautiful, exotic, fast and expensive cars and has spent a fortune to feed his fantasies and not be left out amongst the big boys in who drives the biggest and baddest car.
First on our list is a white Toyota Land Cruiser V8 which he owns and said to cost about GHC400,000. It is a car driven by ‘big men’ in Ghana, most especially Members of Parliament and top Government appointees.
Shatta Wale also owns a Dodge Charger, which was given to him as a birthday friends by one of his numerous rich friends. You would have to be willing to part with GHC381,000 to own one of this beauty.
Shatta Wale also owns one of my very favourites, the Maserati Gran Turismo, which is said to cost GHC528,000. Still saving up money to buy my own.
Our list would not be complete without his Range Rover Sport, which is a very popular car in Ghana with an estimated market value of GHC409,000. Did I forget to add he owns to of these?
Shatta also owns a Mercedes G63 AMG, which was a gift given to him by the Chief Executive Officer of media conglomerate, EIB Network Group.
Last on our list is another favourite of mine which the dancehall king cruises around on the streets of Accra is the Chevrolet Camaro, marking his territory as the supreme ruler of dancehall music in the country
