No Vaccination, No Entry Into Government Facilities – Minister Of Health

The minister of health, Kwaku Agyemang Manu has disclosed that though Government will not force any Ghanaian into taking the corona virus vaccines, very soon however, persons who are not fully vaccinated would be denied entry to all Government facilities.

Adding that this requirement will come into force once a policy document Government is considering to make compulsory COVID-19 vaccination passes through.

Mr. Kwaku Agyemang Manu made these comments during a soiree in Accra, adding that the policy would affect even students in Government schools once it was implemented and so he entreats all who would like to continue their education to quickly vaccinate.

No student would be forced to vaccinate he said, but without evidence of vaccination, not student would be allowed into classrooms or lecture halls. The minister also acknowledged that the omicron variant had succeeded in getting into our communities but was quick to add that its severity is not as great as earlier feared.

He used the opportunity to urge the general public to continue to follow all COVID-19 protocols to safeguard their lives that of their family and friends and society at large.
