Ghanaian musician, Adelaide Bortier popularly known as Adelaide the seer has expressed her strong believe in God that he would one day restore her sight.
Speaking in an interview on the Journey Show with Ama Ghana, Adelaide the seer revealed she was not born blind but her sight started to fail her during her Senior High School days.
Now 26 years of age, the singer disclosed that its been 8 years since she lost her sight and it started when she was in Senior High School and she has had to quit working with music duo Dope Nation due to the demands, choosing to put her health first.
Being candid in the interview, Adelaide revealed that life has not been easy since the incident and she is constantly trying to adopt to her new reality. “The truth is as human as I am, I have days when I cry and feel very low.”
“But anytime this happens, I try to wipe my tears and remain stronger because there are many other people who take their inspiration from me. It is not easy with life, but I believe that everything in life happens for a reason.”
“Like my disability, I know God has a purpose for this and that it won’t be permanent. I believe that one day God will restore my sight”, she said.
