Outspoken sports analyst, Countryman Songo is the latest Ghanaian to express his disappointment at Ghana’s opening match loss in the African Cup of Nations match against Morocco, labeling the team and its coach as sub-standard.
First it was Sarkodie who almost broke his television set while watching the Black Stars in their lackluster losing performance to Morocco, followed by Sonnie Badu, who came out to call the Ghana Football Association for treating the AFCON as a trail and error and now the latest Ghanaian to express concern and disappointment is Countryman Songo.
The Fire for Fire presenter laid into Serbian Coach, Milovan Rajevac and his men for being sub-standard and went as far as to label the Black Stars coach tactically deficient.
“The Black Stars is not good and their head coach too has nothing better to offer us. As for the current GFA the least said about them the better. This is a sub-standard team giving us a mediocre performance” he raged.
The Black Stars will have a chance to redeem themselves in their next African Cup of Nations game against group C leaders Gabon on Friday
