AFCON: Investing In The Black Stars Is A Waste Of Taxpayers Money, Let Them Come Home – Vim Lady

Popular media personality, Afia Pokuaa, popular known in her line of work as Vim Lady has questioned the rational behind Government continuously investing huge sums into the Ghana National team when they continuously make sure these investments made by the Government come to naught.

It is the belief of Vim Lady that instead of Government continuously investing in a clearly dysfunctional group, the Black Stars should be disbanded and a 2 year ban put on the Black Stars and that time used to create a new team that is strong and competitive enough to merit investment.

In her words, “So this $2mill the minister want us to waste on this CAF tournament, can’t we ban all tournaments for 2 years and build proper BLACK STARS TEAM?

Must we suffer BROKEN HEART every time? This is not Milo’s fault the Team is just WEAK”

Vim Lady’s comments come in response to the National team’s weak showing in their opening African Cup of Nations game against Morocco in which they succumbed to a disappointing 1:0 loss to the North African side

Their loss has resulted in many clamping down on the Ghana Football Association, most notably, Sonnie Badu and Countryman Songo, who have all come out to questioned the planing that goes into the National team set-up.
