Denning Edem Hator otherwise known as Edem, a talented Ghanaian musician has expressed worry at the growing trend of people being tagged as an affiliate of a political party when they try contributing their thoughts on National issues.
Speaking on the issue he however took a soldiers stand, indicating that he will not waver when it comes to speaking on National issues for fear of being tagged as a member of a particular political party.
“Sometimes due to unnecessary tagging, I feel I don’t need to comment on certain issues but sometimes if the issue is an issue I feel that I need to speak about why not,” Edem said.
“The truth is that Ghana is a two party state and no matter what you say or do at every point in time you will be positioned at a particular place,” he continued
“So you might as well deal with it and now I am also a grown man and I am not bothered about my choices,” he told Amasan Krakye
“People have to respect people’s choices so if I ever decide to join any political party it has to be my own personal choice and I don’t care what anyone thinks,” he concluded.
