Talented Ghanaian musician and songwriter, Akwaboah has rubbished claims of him being an underrated artiste insisting that he is not but has just chosen not be in an industry in which being loud makes you rated.
Speaking on TV3 New Day with host Cookie Tee, the musician acknowledged that being loud in the industry ensures one remains relevant and garners a lot of followers, his lowkey demeanor should not make people think he is an underrated artistes as that is his personality and he cannot fake to be seen or heard.
Adding that even with his lowkey lifestyle, he still manages to sellout shows even before the set date and has thousands of people coming in to watch him perform whenever he has a show to perform.
“Akwaboh is not underrated. I am everywhere, but I am not loud. Being loud gives you the numbers and popularity. After being loud, then what next? My shows are always sold out. Probably some of my fans are not on social media, but they love my music,” he said.
