Ghana Needs A Better Finance Minister – Kofi Amoah

It is the believe of Ghanaian Economist and business tycoon, Kofi Amoah, that the Nation is deserving of a better manager of its finances than what we currently have as our finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.

The economist and business mogul made these assertions while reacting to Bloomberg’s latest reports that do not bode well for the future of Ghana, on twitter.

He placed the blame of the country’s current financial misfortunes at the doorstep of Ken Ofori-Atta who he believes is out of his depth and only good at borrowing and not thinking out policies and programmes that generate revenue.

“The time of reckoning is upon our land….our dear nation is broke and her lenders are throwing in the towel. Prez Akufo Addo needs a better finance minister,” he said in one of his tweets on Ghana’s situation.

Kofi Amoah suggested that the Government look into the creation of jobs.

“He must jettison the “Borrow For Freebie Development without Jobs” create jobs for the youth,” he said in his address to the Government.

He also laid the blame at the doorstep of Ghanaians for refusing to sign a petition for Government to stop borrowing.

“When we warned the nation to sign a petition to help put a halt to the nation’s dizzying BORROWING, we were scared of what could happen The BORROWING continued and now our pants are down….We Are Naked!”
