MP For Bosomtwe To Fund Education Of 61 Students To Study In The Tertiary

Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe constituency in the Ashanti Region, honourable Yaw Osei Adutwum has warmed the hearts of his constituents by promising to fund the tertiary education of dozens of students in his constituency.

Taking to his twitter handle to share the news, the lawmaker indicated that the tertiary education of 61 students in his constituency will be fully funded by him.

In a farewell event on Friday January 14, 2022, the Member of parliament and some members of his constituency sent the brilliant students of to seek higher in the various tertiary institutions with some to study medicine while others to study the various fields of engineering.

“This morning, 14th January 2022, I bid farewell to 61 students from Bosomtwe who will be studying Medicine and various courses in Engineering fully funded by me. This adds to the already 30 engineering students I funded last year,” he indicated.

Mr. Yaw Osei Adutwum indicated that the scholarship was a full package and not only covered tuition fees but also ensured students got a laptop each, as well as full boarding, feeding and transportation fees.

“These freshmen will be studying in KNUST, University for Development Studies, University of Mines and Technology, University of Energy and Natural Resources and Kumasi Technical University,” he added.
